Matching Gift Program for Victims and Areas Affected by Typhoon Hagibis

Osaka, Japan, February 6, 2020 --- Takeda would like to extend its deepest condolences to the family and friends of all those who lost their lives because of Typhoon Hagibis in 2019 and would also like to express its heartfelt sympathy to those who were affected.

To support victims affected by Typhoon Hagibis in 2019, Takeda conducted a matching gift program from October to November 2019 in cooperation with the Takeda Pharmaceutical Workers Union. Takeda matched donations of 2,768,500 yen by employees, for a total contribution of 5,537,000 yen given to the Central Community Chest of Japan. This support grant will aid the Disaster Volunteer Activity Support Project Meeting, known as Support P, to promote relief activities in disaster-stricken areas. Our deepest thanks to everyone for their contributions.

Takeda would like to express heartfelt sympathy to those affected by Typhoon Hagibis in 2019. We hope for rapid recovery in all areas affected by the disaster.
