Transforming health outcomes by investing in climate–resilient health systems worldwide
Takeda’s Global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program is a signature initiative of our philanthropic giving, which supports solutions that strengthen the resiliency of health systems in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). This program is unique in that we empower our 50,000 employees around the globe to participate in the selection of new partners each year through a worldwide vote. The vote ensures that our community of long-term partnerships reflects the priorities and preferences of all our colleagues.
Our giving is focused on addressing the impacts of climate change on health through three key pillars: reliable health infrastructure, health workforce preparedness, and health technology innovation to enhance access to essential health care services for climate-vulnerable populations.
