Shire Launches OnePath® Patient Portal and Mobile Application
New resources respond to evolving needs of today’s tech-savvy patients
Lexington, MA – October 24, 2017 – Shire plc (LSE: SHP, NASDAQ: SHPG) announces the launch of the OnePath Patient Portal and Mobile Application, which will provide Shire patients who are prescribed treatments for certain rare diseases with a helpful new tool to help manage their condition and treatment.
Shire is committed to providing support to patients, caregivers, and their families. OnePath is Shire’s product support program for patients and caregivers living with certain rare diseases and specialized medical conditions.
Designed as an extension of the personalized, one-on-one product support delivered through OnePath, the new OnePath Patient Portal and Mobile Application are convenient resources to help OnePath-enrolled patients and caregivers connect with OnePath and manage their Shire treatment access.
Using these tools, patients and caregivers will be able to:
- Chat live with a Patient Support Manager
- Virtually "meet" their OnePath support team
- Request assistance
- Securely update patient information
- Explore resources related to condition and therapy
- Log health events in a private eDiary specific to their condition (app only)
- Send a photo of their insurance card to OnePath (app only)

Shire patients and authorized caregivers can create their secure Patient Portal account at www.onepath.com or by downloading the OnePath Mobile Application. The OnePath Mobile Application is available in the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store.
