Osaka, Japan, March 9, 2015 – Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited ("Takeda") has been carrying on support activities for areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake based the vow that "we shall not forget 3.11". As part of these activities, we began a project in April 2011—"Support for Japan's Vitality and Recovery" Program—that has provided donations to many different reconstruction programs through part of the revenue derived from Alinamin products.

At this time, with the support allocations already set for the amount of funding in fiscal 2013 (the third year), we are giving notice that all donations have been completed.

Over the three-year period of the project, the total amount of donated funds came to 3,110,330,342 yen, supporting 12 groups and 13 programs in four categories: "Life and Livelihood", "Industrial Revitalization", "Empowering the Next Generation", and "Policy Proposals".

Some of the programs are long-term projects that will keep going until 2020, and our support will continue through that year.
