On 10 February 2020, the BOIC and the biopharmaceutical company, Takeda, signed a partnership with regard to the Olympic Games which will be held this summer in the Japanese capital from 24 July to 9 August. The agreement runs until 31 December of this year.

Also in Belgium Takeda’s footprint is important with an 18000m² global production facility and over 1200 employees in total.
