Takeda's Annual Report 2015 and CSR Data Book 2015 Receives Good Performance Prize in the Environmental Report Section of the Environmental Communication Awards
Osaka, Japan, 24 February, 2016 --- Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited [TSE: 4502], (“Takeda”) today announced that its Annual Report 2015 and CSR Data Book 2015 received the Good Performance Prize in the Environmental Report Section of the 19th Environmental Communication Awards, co-sponsored by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment and the Global Environmental Forum*. Takeda received the Excellence Prize in 2011, Good Performance Prize in 2014, and this is the second year in a row and third time overall to receive a prize in this award.
The Environmental Communication Awards recognize outstanding environmental reports and environmental activity reports to promote companies' efforts in environmental management and environmental communication, and dispatch quality of non-financial information using a new information disclosure framework. This year marks the 19th anniversary of the Environmental Communication Awards.
The prize was awarded in recognition of Takeda’s deep understanding of value and capital, the resources of the corporate values, and integration of our long-term management and CSR vision; establishment of strategic CSR and engagement systems with outside partners; and linkage of CSR activity including supply chain management to improvement of the corporate values. Furthermore, the integrated Takeda Annual Report 2015 and CSR Data Book 2015 were recognized for making the connection between corporate value and CSR.
