Our team-focused culture incorporates many ideas, perspectives and viewpoints in our determination to put patients at the center of everything we do. Our inclusive programs and policies make Takeda a workplace of choice where talented professionals can grow and flourish.
Takeda Resource Groups (TRGs) bring together employees with shared backgrounds and life experiences, as well as supporting allies, to advance business goals and foster an inclusive work environment. TRGs are organizationally aligned and committed to leading initiatives that positively impact our patients, communities, employees and workplace.
We continually broaden our efforts to ensure a fully inclusive culture to secure our place as an employer of choice, as a valued contributor within the communities in which we live and work, and as a leader in providing innovative solutions for patients.

What does it mean to create sustainable access to medicine in today’s health care system?
Takeda has built an agile global R&D organization, driven by innovative science. This focus on unlocking innovation and delivering potentially transformative therapies to patients extends to our R&D Science Philanthropy initiative, which prioritizes programs that enable cross-industry partnerships and collaboration to accelerate the speed of innovation and support education and career development among aspiring and experienced scientists.
We focus our R&D Science Philanthropy efforts on partnerships that may offer non-traditional approaches to common challenges (e.g. data standards and data sharing, speed and cost of clinical trials, pandemic preparedness, etc.) and programs that support the scientific aspirations of students or career scientists who may wish to further develop their careers within the industry.
To ensure that the programs we support align with our science philanthropy goals we research and proactively invite partnership opportunities and we do not generally support unsolicited requests for funding. For more information, please contact [email protected].
As we think about the health care system of the future, tackling health inequity is a critical, industry-wide priority.
Takeda employees contribute countless volunteer hours each year, serving on boards, acting as mentors, and participating in community activities. We support these efforts for employees through our internal portal that highlights volunteer opportunities across the U.S., as well as by providing volunteer grants for hours served.
If you would like to suggest a volunteer opportunity or have questions, please contact [email protected].
Takeda Cares is our signature employee engagement program that provided an opportunity for our employees to give back within our local communities, either through company organized volunteer events, or individually.
It has since grown to a program that incorporates our U.S. Employee Matching Gift program, volunteer grant program, disaster relief, and our annual impact week reaching organizations in nearly every state in the U.S.
Knowing that we can make a difference and have a positive impact on someone’s life is a motivating force that can inspire all of us!
