KSM Plant

The KSM plant which was commissioned in 2002 is a state of the art facility to manufacture both the key starting materials of Pantoprazole Sodium. KSM-6 & KSM-14 have independent manufacturing facilities spread over an area of 8700sq. meters. It is almost 12 years we are producing and exporting to Germany the Key Intermediates for the manufacturing of the anti-ulcerant drug Pantoprazole. Also these KSMs are used for captive use for the last three years in the manufacture of said API at our API plant. Various critical reactions like Freonation, Hydrogenation, and Nitration etc. are carried out under strict cGMP compliance and continuously monitored by an excellent Quality Management System. Continuous monitoring is done using state-of-the-art equipments like HPLC, HSS-GC, FTIR, UV-Vis. Spectrophotometer etc.

It will not be out of context to mention that Zydus Takeda is perhaps one of the few Companies
to produce the anti-ulcerant API – Pantoprazole from A-Z synthesis.
