Working in Partnership

Supporting the NHS through joint working

With the health and wellbeing of patients at the centre of everything we do, Takeda UK enthusiastically embraces opportunities to work collaboratively in new ways with healthcare providers to help fulfil the requirements of the evolving NHS.

Joint working is about much more than mere funding. It involves pooling our skills, experience and resources with healthcare institutions for the joint development and implementation of patient-centred projects on the basis of a shared commitment to successful patient outcomes. In the therapy areas where we have particular specialist expertise, we therefore work with clinicians and healthcare administrators to create and run projects that support patient education, diagnosis, monitoring and compliance.

In line with ABPI and Department of Health recommendations, these projects promote nationally accepted clinical guidance, and their outcomes are carefully measured. Our participation is open and transparent, and as part of our commitment to these principles, and in accordance with various guidance on joint working, this section provides summaries of the joint working agreements in which we are currently participating.
