Wooburn Green, UK, 23rd November 2018 – Takeda UK has won the PMEA Company of the Year Award 2018. The company was also announced as winner in three other categories and finalist in a fourth within the awards programme. The announcement was made at an award ceremony in central London on Thursday 22nd November.
The company impressed the judges with their meaningful focus on patients, commitment to people, and strong collaborative approach with partners: “Takeda’s management team demonstrated a strong and effective team spirit, with patients at the centre of all their planning. Takeda have transformed their business in the last few years. They showed they are innovative, agile and clearly successful, with very strong statistics and some impressive 'firsts' for the industry. They operate within a no blame culture, using mistakes as a learning platform which is encouraged by their management team. They are rightly proud of their achievements and the judges thought they were spectacular.”
As well as giving an overview of the company’s success over the last year and plans for the future, Takeda showcased their new learning and development portal SHINE, and their strong work in marketing established brands; plus the award winning brand campaigns for their specialty products.
Run by the PMGroup, PMEA recognises work that delivers clearly identifiable benefits and improved outcomes for patients, with the Company of the Year award going to the organisation that demonstrates outstanding customer-centric achievement across its entire product range.
