Takeda UK's cycling team, Myeloma Movers, embark on a 500km cycling challenge

01 May 2016

Takeda has a great history of charitable giving, and this is demonstrated by our latest team challenge.  The Takeda UK Cycling team, our Myeloma Movers, will be embarking on the 500km cycling event from London to Paris on 5th - 9th May, raising funds for Myeloma UK.  We are immensely proud of all those participating in the ride and showing their support for those affected by multiple myeloma.

The ride will be commencing at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, where cyclists will descend 500km via Calais, Abbeville and Beauvais before cycling past the Arc de Triomphe and finishing at the Eiffel Tower.

The riders have been training incredibly hard over the past few months and working to raise as much money as possible for a charity close to all our hearts.  With just over £3,000 left to raise before we reach our fundraising target of £12,500, friends and colleagues continue to rally round and donate.  We wish to thank everybody for their donations and kind support!

The Myeloma Movers are Andrew Nicholl, Andrew Telford, Anne Wilde, Craig Adkins, Gregg Jones, Mehrnaz Campbell and William Whitaker. https://www.justgiving.com/teams/TakedaOncology/
