Find out from some of our expert employees and business partners why they decided to join the Takeda UK team, and how their careers have progressed:
Head of Medical & Scientific Affairs Oncology
In the 13 years I've been at Takeda, I can honestly say that no two days have been the same - and there's never been a dull moment, either. I joined the medical team at a particularly exciting time, in the early days of the RAD revolution that Takeda pioneered.
Senior Pricing & Marketing Access Manager
After graduating in pharmacy and completing an MSc in clinical pharmacology, I practised as a clinical pharmacist in the hospital sector from 1994-7. I then joined an international pharma strategy consultancy where I worked for seven years. Even as an outsider, Takeda UK's Regional Account Director (RAD) revolution of 2004 seemed a bold, innovative move.
Divisional Sales Director, Oncology Business Unit
The RAD role within Takeda gave me the challenge I craved. I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry, both in-house and as a consultant, for more than 20 years and, in general, have found pharmaceutical companies to be heavily centralised organisations, which limits their impact within an NHS that is becoming increasingly regionalised. Takeda is different.
Customer Account Specialist
I have worked for Takeda now for seven years now. My career highlight to date has been reaching the finals in the Account Management Team of the Year category in the Pharmaceutical Field Awards. This recognition really underlines Takeda's approach to Key Account Management.
Regional Account Director
I have worked within the pharmaceutical industry for over 17 years in a variety of roles - including sales, management & EMEA marketing. In almost two decades, as you would expect, the NHS and pharmaceutical industry have evolved, impacting greatly upon the manner in which we conduct our business.
