Supporting the People Who Fight Cancer
Uniting global communities to honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, and helping raise awareness, fundraise, and advocate for life-saving policies.

The Program

Takeda supported the expansion of the American Cancer Society (ACS)'s Global Relay For Life (RFL) into an additional 20 countries by 2020. The RFL Program is a global grassroots movement that recognizes the personal impact of cancer and empowers communities to fight back against this global scourge.

About the American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is a global grassroots force of 2 million volunteers and the U.S.’ largest private, not-for-profit investor in cancer research. The Society has played a major role in the dramatic reduction of national cancer deaths and smoking rates by finding cures, advocating for access to quality health care, lifesaving screenings, and more.
