Thomas Wozniewski serves as Takeda’s Global Manufacturing & Supply Officer, country head of Switzerland and as a member of Takeda’s Executive Team.
Thomas joined Takeda in this role in July 2014. Since then, he has focused on the technological and digital transformation and the implementation of a continuous improvement culture within the global network of more than 25 manufacturing sites.
Prior to joining Takeda, Thomas gained more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding senior leadership roles in manufacturing, quality and supply chain management at Bayer Consumer Care Switzerland, Bayer Healthcare AG, Schering AG and Boehringer Ingelheim in Germany.
Outside of Takeda, Thomas is member of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Forum, which facilitates the exchange of technical operations and supply leaders from key global research and development based pharmaceutical companies.
Thomas holds a doctorate degree in pharmaceutical biology from the University of Regensburg, Germany. He is based in Zurich, Switzerland with his wife and has two children.
