Takeda to Support Relief Effort for
Tsunami and Earthquake Disaster in Southeast Asia
All Takeda employees in the world express their deepest sympathy
and condolences to all those affected by this disaster.

OSAKA, JAPAN --- Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited ("Takeda") announced today that Takeda group companies including subsidiaries/affiliates outside Japan and its employees are now making donation to the Red Cross and other organizations in funds and medicines to relief efforts for tsunami disaster victims in Southeast Asia. The total amount will be estimated approximately Yen 100 million.

Contributions made by Takeda employees for relief efforts will be supported by Matching Gift programs, which will be made to UNICEF as a body taking an initiative in protecting affected children in tsunami area.
