Takeda Announces Change of Senior Leadership
and the Establishment of New Organization

Osaka, Japan, June 22, 2012 --- Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited today announced the change of senior leadership and the establishment of a new organization, “General Manager Office” in Pharmaceutical Research Division effective July 1, 2012. Along with the establishment of “General Manager Office”, “Strategic Planning Office”, “Research Alliance Office”, “Project Management Office” and “Research Communication Office” will be positioned under it with changing their name into “Strategic Planning”, “Alliance”, “Project Management” and “Communication”.
