The Alliance Process

Takeda conducts transfer alliance through the following 4 major processes.

Search

Information concerning compounds and products, drug development targets, and fundamental technologies of Takeda’s interest is collected by monitoring of publicized information and individual interviews, and items to be evaluated in detail are determined.

Evaluation

Confidential materials are evaluated within the company. Economic as well as scientific evaluation is performed.

Negotiation / Conclusion

After evaluation in the company, a concrete form of contract is discussed with the partner, aiming to conclude a contract acceptable to both parties.

Alliance management

After conclusion of the contract, the alliance manager follows up the alliance until its completion.
