Relationship with Society

Through its more than 220-year history of "creating medicine," Takeda has developed a strong mission and high ethical standards. As a company dedicated to creating superior pharmaceutical products, we recognize the importance of individual lives and health.
The Company established the "Basic Policy on Social Contribution," promoting its efforts in accordance with the four priority areas on a global basis.

Contribution to Society: Four Priority Areas

1. The area directly related to the Mission: "We strive toward better health for individuals and progress in medicine by developing superior pharmaceutical products"

Promotion of Science and Technology focusing on Medical and Pharmaceutical Research

2. The area concerning "The aim to live an affluent life with body and mind in good health," as well as "eliminating any obstacles to such a goal" based on the Mission

Patients, people with various types of disability, disaster victims, and sports and culture

3. Contributions toward developing a bright and dream-inspiring future

Environmental protection, local community activities
