CSR in Takeda

Throughout our more than 220-year history, Takeda has maintained a strong commitment to society, demonstrating high ethical standards and living up to our mission of promoting better health for patients and progress in medicine. With this in mind, it is therefore fair to say that the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility is rooted in the very essence of Takeda.

The Company champions a "Corporate Philosophy" comprising Takeda-ism, Management Mission, Management Vision and Corporate Values. The basic concept of CSR is tightly interwoven into our philosophy.

In Takeda-ism all employees act with integrity at all times and uphold a basic stance of fairness and honesty in compliance with highest ethical standards and tireless efforts to pursue our operations and management in an optimal manner. In our global endeavors Takeda-ism empowers us to fulfill our mission “to strive towards better health for patients worldwide through leading innovation in medicine.” We believe these are no more than the underlying concept of CSR.
