Takeda-ism is the management philosophy that has continuously guided the company throughout its more than 220 years of services. As such, our future business undertakings will never deviate from these core values.

An R&D-oriented player in the global pharmaceutical market, Takeda remains committed to fulfilling its management mission: "We strive toward better health for individuals and progress in medicine by developing superior pharmaceutical products" on a global scale.

Intensifying competition in the global arena has made it increasingly important for us to thoroughly improve our own strengths, namely, "carefully thought-out strategic planning and actions from a long-term point of view" and "high productivity and efficiency." As we put our efforts into discovering a continuous series of new drugs from in-house R&D and increasing our penetration of overseas markets, we aim to make a leap toward becoming a global pharmaceutical company.
